Strong industry representation at the Balkan Entertainment & Gaming Exhibition Sofia 2013

On the days of 22nd and 23rd October the Balkan Entertainment & Gaming Expo (BEGE EXPO) took place for the sixth time in a row. Traditionally, Sofia has become a center for play and entertainment companies in the Balkans, where Bulgarian and foreign companies presented their latest products and services to the region to more than 2,000 visitors.

The event was officially opened by Ognemir Mitev – Chairman of the State Gambling Commission and Angel Iribozov – Chairman of the Board of Directors of BTAMOGI.

The Bulgarian industry was represented by leading manufacturers and distributors of entertainment and gaming equipment as well as software solutions. Leading Bulgarian manufacturer Casino Technology presented the latest versions of the GAMOPOLIS HIGHWAY multigame series as well as the latest developments in server-based and online solutions.

The distribution of gaming equipment Casino Trade BG presented to the local market for the first time the G5 HD Mini Roulete ™ – an innovative 8-seater roulette of the Slovenian company Interblock. Other Bulgarian companies offering successful business solutions included Decart, AlfaStreet Trade BG, Innovation for Casino Games, Rodiz, Avangard Technology, Simona Cards and Avant-X Technoolgy. From the entertainment sector these were Interservice Uzunovi, Mini Golf Ltd., Microintellect and KB Distribution.

More and more international executives present themselves at BEGE Expo, and some of them attend the show for the second, third or fourth consecutive year. In 2013, its latest innovations featured the following companies: APEX Gaming Technology, Abbiati, Advansys, Betconstruct, Fininvest, Future Gaming, Gaming Support, Interblock, Vermantia, Microgaming, Suzo-Happ, SB Tech, Spielo International, Syswin Solutions and StylGame , The entertainment sector was introduced by Advanced Technology Research, SEGA and Sound Leisure.

The second edition of the Miss Gaming BEGE competition took place at BEGE Expo 2013. The crown was presented to the charming blonde Kristiyana Rangelova, who represents the Casino Hrisantema. Her runners-up were Nikol Georgieva – Miss Palms Bet (second) and Anastasia Andreeva – Miss Sesame (third), while “The Choice of the Audience” became Miss Casino Ritz Plovdiv – Mihaela Vasileva.

The organizers of the party playground, which also belonged to the BEGE exhibitors, are the exclusive agents for Bulgaria of the world’s leading game manufacturer SEGA, whose most popular and attractive products are equipped with all major entertainment centers in Sofia, Varna and Burgas.

On the second day of BEGE Expo the traditional BEGE AWARDS were awarded. Alfastreet Trade BG has been awarded as “the company with the largest number of foreign companies in Bulgaria”. Honorary diplomas for “Bulgarian companies supporting BEGE Expo”: AvantX technology, casino technology, casino game innovation, Decart, Rodiz and Simona Cards. Special honorary diplomas for companies taking part in the fair for the first time were awarded to APEX Gaming Technology GmbH, Gaming Support, Syswin Solutions, Vermantia and Advanced Technology Research.

On the same day, an open discussion of the Bulgarian gambling providers with the State Gambling Commission was held for the second time, covering the most recent general issues of local industry and the regulatory authority.

During the two days of BEGE EXPO, visitors and guests had the opportunity to sample complimentary cocktails and coffee drinks from Bar Academy and Baristo Coffee, provided by Enco Vending. For those looking for more entertainment there is a special fun area with mini golf, table football and various simulators.

The fair ended successfully with positive feedback from exhibitors and visitors. The sixth edition of BEGE Expo has once again proved to be a very important initiative, supporting industry development in the region, helping manufacturers and dealers reach more customers, and providing valuable source information on the Eastern European gambling industry and the Eastern European market.

The EGE Expo – the most important fair for the leisure, gaming and entertainment industry in the Balkans – brings together exhibitors and visitors from all over the world for the sixth consecutive year. Exhibiting companies present products and services for the operation of hotels, entertainment centers, shopping malls, restaurants, bars, casinos, etc., as well as other marketing, digital technologies, mobile applications, security and control systems, vending machines and others.
